Ready to make waxing your cross country skis easy and fun? We're working hard to take the mystery out of waxing and make it accessible to everyone. (Because a little wax on your skis makes xc skiing a lot more fun, and it keeps your bases in better shape.)

Here's how to get in on the fun:

December 2: Hands On Nordic Ski Waxing Clinic

6 pm Bangtail Bikes

Learn how to wax your skis with the top ski techs from Bridger Ski Foundation, Crosscut Mountain Sports Center, and Toko. Pre-register if you want to be hands on; but no need to register if you just want to observe! Full details HERE.

COMMUNITY WAXING NIGHTS

December 9, January 12, February 9

4 - 8 p.m. at Bridger Ski Foundation, 851 Bridger Dr. Suite 4

Next up, time to keep your skis waxed throughout the season by taking advantage of BSF's big 'ol wax trailer.

BSF is trying something new--Community Wax Nights. Reserve a wax bench spot, and then bring your skis over. BSF will provide the bench, the tools, and the wax. Plus, we'll have wax experts on hand to help you out, if you need it. Perfect for honing your waxing craft! Also, great if you don't have the tools at home. Wax nights are open to all community members. Suggested donation of $10 to cover supplies.

While you're waxing your skis, gain valuable advice from our seasoned volunteers and coaches. BSF Nordic Program Director Andrew Morehouse spent four season as a wax technician for the U.S. Ski Team on the World Cup.

If this goes well and the demand is high, we may add additional dates. The current dates of December 9, January 12, and February 9 all fall just prior to each of the FUNSKI Community Nordic events, so you can have fast skis before each FUNSKI.
