ABOUT THE TEAM

New in 2022-23: The BSF Freeride Team will be its own stand alone program! Thanks to everyone for making the pilot year such a success. The Freeride program gives skiers and snowboarders dedicated coaching to explore and compete in big mountain freeride competitions.

In freeride, athletes are presented with a section of mountain to ski/ride, and the athlete chooses their own line. Athletes are judged based on their line choice down the course, control, fluidity, technique, style and energy.

Primary competitions are with the International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association (IFSA).

BASE-LINE CONCUSSION TESTING

Baseline concussion testing recommended but not required. In the event an athlete does have a head injury, having baseline testing results on file allows your doctor to evaluate the injury and more accurately determine when an athlete can return to activity. Click here for info.
