Snow has arrived!

We were supposed to get 2 to 3" overnight, but we received 8-10" in town. Best news of December!

Our groomers are going to start rolling.

New grooming report: above you'll see the new grooming report from Nordic Pulse. Once a trail has been groomed, it will light up on the map as green (i.e. groomed within the last 24 hours). If you scroll through the list of trails, you can click on a trail to see it in more detail. The great thing about this new system is that it's real time. The app tracks the groomer as they groom the trail, and it syncs their GPS track online as soon as they finish. The U.S. Forest Service grooming crew also plans to try it out when they groom in Hyalite this season.

If you hover your curser over circles, you'll see the key for the colors on the map. Anything that's green has been groomed within the last 24 hours.

We're still working with Nordic Pulse to make a few tweaks to this embedded grooming report, so the viewing experience will improve.

Moser notice: Log hauling started yesterday out of Moser in Hyalite.  The Forest Service expects the logging to continue through the winter with the Moser Road and Moser Jumpoff Road plowed throughout the winter.  Please use extra caution driving up Hyalite Canyon and expect log trucks traveling the lower canyon.  Due to the plowing of the Moser Roads and log truck traffic, snowmobiling, skiing, fat biking, and hiking is not recommended on the road.
