Hi! I'm writing from Utah after finishing up camp in PC! Finn last updated you on the first bit. For me, camp has been super fun. Because I've been based in Utah, being back with the team is especially nice. I have really missed training with my other girls Hannah and Lauren.

Also I've really missed all the boys too. It won't be too long until we will all be back together and on snow!! Finn finished updating PC camp with the skate intensity 5k project. The next day we went for a sweet ride! I'm not sure about how the others were doing, I think some of the boys got a little tired... but I thought the ride was sweet!! The leaves were perfect, just golden everywhere, and the air was crisp! It's mountain days like this that I live for! Bozeman and Utah just can really start the day right.

Good vibes, on a beautiful fall ride

Crisp air, fall colors, and all smiles. Fall training is so much fun!

After some speed workouts, strength workouts, and distance we headed back to SOHO to do two TT's. One Classic Sprint and another Skate 10km/15km. First of all, we have to take a moment to congratulate the winner, Logan Diekmann at the sprint TT. Taking the gold. A sprint TT at soldier hollow is super beneficial for so many reasons. For one, it's on an actual sprint course. Additionally it is a great way to progress our bodies out of base shape into race form and wake them up. Doing a TT with multiple teams is really good too, because it allows us all to gain another level of competition. We were joined by Crosscut, Sun Valley and the Utah Ski Team. For me, this is a really good workout because I need to work on skiing in heats and staying with the pack when it starts to break.

Logan showing us how it is done. Powerful, smooth, tan, and fit.

The next day was the skate TT. We woke up to snow in PC!! The girls had a 10km and went first. We got some rain and some wind, but it did clear up for the boys 15km. This is always a great test to feel the body, test the shape, and throw on a bib.

I think we are all super grateful to have spent two weeks together as a team getting in great, quality workouts. Being in the same house is a special opportunity, especially now. Having time to eat together and laugh together really can help unite a team. I'm really looking forward to watching and being apart of this team as we grow closer, and push each other more and more everyday to become better skiers and people.

The girls about to get strong

I already miss my Bozeman crew and I'm so excited to be back soon!!
