It can be challenging for a nordic skiers who is training close to 30 hours per week and also trying to fund their season through a part time job to have any time to hang out with friends and family. Logan talks about how he is able to keep close with his friends and family. The Pro team has now been in Park City for a few days for a two week training camp! Mariah Wins the Bozeman Marathon

Mariah recently competed in the Bozeman Marathon. She won the women's division race with a blistering fast time of 2:59:08. This placed her 8th overall! Her goal was to qualify for the Boston marathon which she ended up doing! Mariah talks about how her training with BSF and ski specific training helped her achieve her goal and how she is looking forward to bringing this energy and speed back into skiing this winter!

Finn O'Connell Norway Training camp PT 2

Finn O'Connell writes about the second part of his training camp with the US Ski Team. He was on the West coast of Norway for some roller ski training and ending the training camp with the Toppidretsveka roller ski races! It consisted of a 54k classic race, a classic city sprint, a 15K skate race, and finally a 10k Pursuit classic race. Read all about it in his latest update.

Finn O'Connell is in Sweden and Norway for a 15 day training camp with The US Ski Team! The first week of the camp is in Torsby Sweden where the have a sport hotel and a 1.2 kilometer ski tunnel!

Fueling for training

Simon Zink talks about the final day of the BSF Summer Collegiate training program the 100k ski, and how he fuels for such a big day, and for training in general. Fueling during training has become a huge part of nordic skiing over the past few years. Being able to fuel properly helps with recovery and allowing the body to be rested and ready to go train again.
