Wanted: Volunteers for BSF Committees

May 20, 2020
by:

How can you get involved with BSF?  Join a BSF committee. BSF runs off community input from volunteers. Each discipline has an independent committee that oversees the community needs and impacts of its programs. These committees also give feedback and support to the four BSF programs: Nordic, Alpine, Freestyle, and Community Nordic Trails. Committee members include parents, alumni, and community members.  You can engage across the spectrum of BSF programs, from learning the ropes to helping run events.

A Little More About Us

BSF is a Gold Certified Club by the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association.   This independent assessment is a holistic look at an organization, and addresses an extensive set of standards within the following eight domains:

Leadership and Governance

Finance and Funding

Fostering Club Culture

PR, Communications and Marketing

Human Resources

Child/Athlete Protection

Club Programming

Club Logistics.

About 5% of clubs across the country have reached this designation. BSF has proudly reached this goal twice.  Our community is what makes the difference.  Join us to learn more and to be part of the rich history and future of BSF.
