Bridger Ski Foundation Freeskiers Vay O'Brien and Luke Price proved they can compete with the best in the country. At the U.S. Snowboard and Freeski Association's National Championships March 31-April 10, the two both landed in the top 10.

Thirteen-year-old Vay O'Brien of Livingston, MT, took 7th in her age group for Slopestyle and 8th in the Rail Jam. Plus, in a brand new event for her, she finished 5th in Skiercross. Another great season for a young freeskier who consistently finishes among the top girls in the country each year.

In the open class for Big Air, Luke Price had the highest score of the day and was sitting in first place with a 92.75. In other years, that would have been enough for a win, but for the first time this year, USASA took the average of the best two runs. In his next two runs, Luke went big and fell. In the end, he still  finished 7th overall. In slopestyle, he took 14th.

Congratulations to Luke and Vay on a terrific season. We can't wait to see what you do next!
