Winter, at last!

With the recent snowfall, in-town ski venues are looking much better.  Highland Glen requires more snow than other areas before the Pisten Bully can get there, but we are now able to get the big groomer out, cut snow drifts & set tracks. Sunset Hills trails are mostly weaved into the snowmaking loop, and higher-up, it just keeps getting deeper. We'll take it!!

In Hyalite, the USFS reported good skiing, despite many stuck snowmobiles in grooming things out... Make sure to thank them for their hard work and amazing trails!!

In Sourdough/Moser, we had similar conditions to Hyalite...but an easier time grooming, almost! The deeper snow and toll of early season pushing piles at Sunset Hills with snowmaking, brought-to-light some maintenance items on the PB. Big thanks, and a shout-out to Gallatin Tree Care for the use of their heated shop the past couple of days.

Extreme cold temps this latter half of the week, we are on standby with grooming until Saturday or more likely Sunday until things warm up a bit.

Stay warm, be safe. Enjoy!
