UPDATE 6:30 PM 12/23: The bulk of our in town skiing was groomed this morning and should be very nice, especially for classic skiing. Bridger Creek will be on the soft side. Sunset Hills and Highland Glen are in great shape. We did not get a chance to get back to Sourdough tonight, which is currently only groomed to the bridge with 2 classic tracks. That being said, the platform beneath the ungroomed snow is very flat and firm and with the cold temperatures, classic skiing should be quite good despite the lack of recent grooming. We hope to get Sourdough groomed out again soon!

The snow keeps coming and we are keeping after the grooming! There may be some delays in tomorrows grooming and there are a couple of reasons. Firstly, the timing of the snow combined with the Bozeman Creek Climb: snow is forecast through the night and the Bozeman Creek Climb race starts mid morning, so we will be taking the Pisten Bully to Sourdough very early and doing as much as we can up there before doing our race grooming and returning that machine to town for Bob to groom up Sunset Hills and Highland Glen. Secondly, carburetors do not like extreme cold and it is going to be cold in the morning. All of our machines live outside and it may take a little while to get the Bridger Creek machine and the machine we use for the dog loop started.

So, the plan is to more or less hit every one of our trails tomorrow, either in the morning or sometime during the day.

Sunset Hills and the Lindley Dog Loop were groomed mid day Friday and given that there hasnt been much accumulation since, will likely better skiing than other areas in the morning

Cheers!
