Grooming of these trails is funded by our community through donations, voluntary trail passes, and grants. We love that this method keeps our trails free and open to everyone. But it also means scrambling every year to raise enough money to keep our grooming operations going for the full winter.
An early start to winter was much welcomed, but it also added an extra month of grooming and snowmaking expenses to our budget.
As of December 14, 606 households had contributed via their voluntary trail passes. Thank you! But we're still far short of our goal of 1,000 passes sold by Dec 31. If you can, please pitch in with a trail pass purchase and/or a donation. Let's keep the grooming crew going all winter long!
Other ways to help
1) Encourage your friends to get a trail pass
2) Volunteer. We especially need folks to sign up for a morning or afternoon as a trail ambassador this winter.
