UPDATE (Monday Morning): Sourdough has been groomed to Moser Divide and all of Bridger Creek has been groomed. Get out the green kick wax and go for a shuffle, the cold snow is going to be slow. That is it for the snowmobile grooming until it warms up a bit on Tuesday and Wednesday. This morning (Monday) we will be out knocking down drifts at Sunset Hills and Highland Glen and should have that in pretty good shape.
This morning, snow continues to fall, we will see what the day ultimately brings us. Sourdough is getting a pass from the roller this morning to pack things down. We will put in a more complete effort there this evening before the arctic blast fully sets in. Bridger Creek, Sunset Hills, and Highland Glen will also get quick groomings this morning, primarly to get some snow onto the trails before the wind comes up later.
The next two days look to be brutally cold so we are going to do what we can to get things groomed before then. With lows well into the negatives Monday and Tuesday night, it is starting snowmobiles will be very difficult and riding them incredibly uncomfortable. Any grooming that happens Monday and Tuesday will be during daylight hours for the sake of our machines and our operators. Please bear with us through the cold, it always creates problems.
Check back for updates later.
