UPDATED
Snow farming at Sunset Hills is wrapped up and we will put in a classic track there tonight. There were electrical issues with the Bridger Creek track setter, so while those trails have been ginzu groomed, there are no classic tracks. Sourdough will be getting a touch up to the bridge and back tonight as well. While the cover is thin, everything is skiing very well thanks to some good moisture content in this snow.
Already, I am back to being the broken record of "keep your eyes out for runners at Highland Glen". Yes, someone ran down the middle of the trail last night. Not only is this not allowed, it is horrible trail etiquette and with our thin snow that is still firming up, incredibly frustrating for both skiers and groomers. As a ski community, please help us find these people and and very politely ask them to go elsewhere (always be an ambassador, we rely on good will from our community).
Sourdough is open to foot traffic but we ask that walkers and runners please stay to the side of the trail opposite the classic tracks. Furthermore, if you do see grooming equipment out and about, please move to the opposite side of the trail from the machinery, especially when its the Pisten Bully.
Enjoy the snow! We are planning to have Sourdough more thoroughly groomed for the weekend!
