Unfortunately, the Hyalite Tour, scheduled for tomorrow, December 30, in Hyalite Canyon is cancelled.
The road into Hyalite will not be plowed tomorrow, and with the forecasted snow, the Forest Service and BSF decided that hosting a large event combined with unplowed roads would be unwise.
Trails in Hyalite will not be groomed tomorrow.
We do hope that you get out to enjoy this snow and a ski with your family and friends this weekend. BSF will be working on getting the in-town trails groomed during this storm cycle. We'll look into the possibility of planning a tour in the spring in Hyalite. Thanks for your understanding, and have a Happy New Year!
Update from Kyle:
On the list for Saturday grooming are: Sourdough to Wild Horse Junction (almost to Mystic Lake), Highland Glen and Sunset Hills, and hopefully Bridger Creek. Sourdough will likely get rolled in the morning on Saturday and then a more proper grooming Saturday night or Sunday morning. We apologize if we dont get to everything right away, the holidays have a tendancy to pull people away for a little bit and we have been getting a lot of snow (which we'll take!).
Cheers!
