UPDATE: Sunset Hills has classic tracks and should be excellent skiing! Highland is smoothing out and whole still a bit "sporty" it should be fun skating.
The lower loops at Bridger Creek were rolled. While cover is still thin and the ground still soft, there should be some decent skiing out there. Remember to park at the Golf Course Clubhouse (see the maps on this website!) and walk across the street to the groomed trails. Remember, no bikes, no foot traffic, and no dogs (thats the golf course's rule!)! People do live along the golf course, be respectful of private property and stay on the groomed trail. Also, be respectful of the golf course, stay off of greens and tee boxes and any roped off areas.
The snow is back! It started in the pre-dawn hours so we have not been out packing anything yet but given the forecast, Sunset Hills will get a mid morning rolling. If this storm plays out as planned, we hope to get all of Sunset Hills, Highland Glen, and Bridger Creek packed in. We kept enough base at Sunset Hills we should be able to get a classic track set tonight as well. Stay tuned for updates and enjoy the snow!
Quick note on Sunset Hills/Lindley: please park at the softball complex, not at Lindley Center. Also, do not park in front of the trails trucks, we need to be able to get in and out as needed. Lastly, no dogs on any of the groomed ski trails in town! This includes the stadium area in front of Lindley Center!
Note on the Lindley sledding hill: the sledding hill is north of the orange fence, there is no sledding on the groomed ski trail. It is clearly signed, please pay attention to the signs.
Enjoy the sun and the snow and remember to always be an ambassador on the trails!
