Intermountain Division Youth Championships

More than 40 young skiers in the BSF Nordic Intro Devo programs travelled to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, for the annual Intermountain Division Youth Championships February 24-25, 2018. For many of the U14 and younger racers, it was their first time traveling to a race, and BSF coaches worked hard to give them a full experience--dancing, costumes, camaraderie, cheering, and skiing, too.

Athletes had the opportunity to race in both a classic xc ski race and a freestyle race. Plus, the championships also featured an obstacle course race, where the BSF team's devotion to jumps, tricks, and general shenanigans on skis was apparent.

BSF collected a number of great finishes throughout the weekend, enough to earn them the overall Team Award. Their excellent attitudes also earned the team the Sportsmanship Award for the event, as well. Congratulations, everyone!
