We're excited to announce our summer lineup of programs for the BSF Nordic program. We offer regular 10- and 14-week dryland training sessions, plus several optional traveling camps.

BSF summer programs are open to ages 10+. You don’t even have to be a skier to join. It’s a great way to get outside a few days a week, enjoy our beautiful surroundings, and build physical conditioning throughout the summer.

INVITE YOUR FRIENDS; IT'S NOT JUST FOR SKIERS

We invite all local youth to join in our summer programs, regardless of their involvement in our ski programs. (It’s great for soccer players, runners, and outdoor enthusiasts.) You don't have to be a skier.

FREE ONE-WEEK TRIAL

Not sure? Join us for a free 1-week trial (best during the first week) to see if it’s a good fit before you register. Email BSF to save a spot and get the schedule.

NO SKILLS NECESSARY

  • No specific ski skills are necessary.
  • Dryland training benefits all types of athletic and outdoor pursuits.
  • No prior fitness levels requirements.

In other words, as long as you want to move and enjoy the outdoors, COME JOIN US.

WHAT'S DRYLAND TRAINING?

It's "skier speak" for exercising in the off season. We hike, bike, run, and play organized games (like soccer and Frisbee). With BSF's professional, certified coaches, you'll explore Bozeman's best trails and create new adventures. Athletically, it helps develop cardiovascular capacity, endurance, flexibility, strength, and balance. But it's also about enjoying our environment and developing team-building skills, confidence, and friendships.

Regular dryland training meets at different locations in Bozeman each week. Traveling summer camps are also available, for an additional cost; they are not required.

EQUIPMENT

Training shoes and ski poles are necessary. Roller skis optional; mountain bikes are recommended but not required. We typically offer an alternative activity (like ski walking) on days when others may be biking or roller skiing. Participants will also want some kind of water bottle/waist belt/ or pack so they have water/snacks on our adventures; plus proper layers.

BUSY SCHEDULE?

Don’t worry. It’s fine (and normal) for dryland participants to miss days for vacations or for other sports.
