Summer Dryland: Our Nordic athletes are working hard--training around Bozeman anywhere from three to five days a week (depending on their age and schedule) and enjoying some epic mountain adventures, including hikes, runs, roller skis, biking, and some cold mountain lake dips.
The Nordic team hit the Beartooths for an 11-day on-snow camp in June and then for a mini 3-day camp last weekend to run the Beartooth 5k/10k and enjoy some camping and mountain time together.
Congrats to Seth Wyatt for the overall win in the 10k, with Andrew Meyer in 2nd. BSF's Georgianna Fischer was 2nd overall in the women's 10k. But it was the 13- and 14-year-old BSF girls who dominated the 5k, with Ella Neaubauer, Elena Rubsam, Jessie Kalinowski, Clara Wyatt, Fiona Jacobsen, Anna Alexander, and Annalise Pesslsweeping 1st through 8th, respectively. (And BSF parent Tamara Meyer rounded out the top 10 overall.)
The team will head to Canmore in August for their annual Canada camp.
