Bridger Ski Foundation's Freeskiing Team is still accepting winter registrations. Join this fun group of skiers as they explore the terrain park and learn new tricks. The team trains at both Bridger Bowl and Big Sky, and a variety of options are available, from 1 day a week to 5 days a week.

The Perks

Great professional coaching from U.S. Ski & Snowboard certified coaches.

Learn new tricks safely, with the aid of trampolines, air bags, water ramps, and expert coaching.

BSF provides transportation to training and competitions for all of our older athletes.

A fun team atmosphere.

In the off season, BSF provides lots of options for developing your freeskiing--trampoline camps, water ramp camps, and on on-snow camp in the Beartooths each summer. Plus we also offer fall dryland training to prepare skiers for the season.

Who can join?

Anyone. You don't need prior freeskiing team experience to join us. We'll help place you in the right group for your level.

Ages: typically 10+ (but we're flexible)

Days per week: 1, 2, 3, or 5 days

Competitions

Many of our athletes compete in local, regional, and sometimes national competitions. How much you compete or travel is completely up to you. Talk with your coach to come up with a plan.

Levels

Introductory Development: For athletes just getting familiar with Freeskiing (terrain park), Freestyle (moguls), and all-mountain skiing. Typically ages 11-12. Bounce around between the focus groups and develop your ski skills.

Development Comp Team: Focus on Freeskiing and develop your terrain park skills. Work on rails, tabletops, gaps, and other features. This group is often ages 13-14, but it's based on ability more than age at this point.

Comp Team: For the avid freeskier who wants to focus on perfecting their skills in the park and on natural terrain. Typically ages 15+, but again, this is based on ability more than age.

Cost

1 day a week: $600

2 days a week: $960

3 days a week: $1250

5 days a week: $2880

NOT SURE YET?

New this year, we're giving U14 & younger the chance to test out an on-snow day with the team. Come ski with us and see if it's a good fit. Contact Mike Papke to set up a weekend day to try it out: mike@bridgerskifoundation.org or 406-587-2445.

SNOWBOARDING & FREESTYLE

If snowboarding or freestyle (moguls and aerials) are more your speed, we have teams for that, too.
