The next generation of Alpine & Freestyle skiers.

Alpine and Freestyle Intro Programs celebrated the end of their 8-week season with the PhD Skis Jamboree. After a season of skiing at Bridger Bowl, athletes donned race bibs and tackled the gates on Hanton's Hollow, and showed off their new skills on the moguls course and in the terrain park.

The Alpine & Freestyle Intro programs are open to intermediate skiers who can already ski from mid-mountain down. Certified BSF coaches give athletes an 8-week introduction to alpine racing and freestyle/freeskiing, developing skills that not only prepare them for a future in the gates, on moguls, or the terrain park, but also that transfer to all-around mountain skiing.

The PhD Jamboree marked the first-ever race for many of these young skiers, and they loved getting to pull on a bib and experience the thrill of a ski race. A huge thanks to all of the parents and volunteers who helped out and cheered them on--from the cowbells to the whispered words of encouragement at the start gate. And a special thanks to all of our BSF coaches for giving these kids such an amazing winter and fueling their life-long love of skiing.

A huge thanks to the Jamboree sponsors: PhD Skis, Les Schwab Tires, Fence Pro, and Bar 3 BBQ!
