June 12, 2020
Jenny White

We've seen these athletes learn to carve an edge, take flight, gain speed, and most of all, turn into stellar human beings. We're proud of their fortitude, dedication, and perseverance over the years and their willingness to be both leaders and supportive teammates. As we send the Class of 2020 out into the world, please give them a hearty congratulations!

Favorite BSF Moment: Traveling with the team, going to U.S. Nationals, and making friends all across the country.

Athlete: Aidan Van Eerden

Team: Nordic

Next Adventure: Headed to the University of British Columbia at the Okanagan campus. With a goal of ski racing in college, he's joining a club with a few other UBC students who just finished skiing at a national level in Canada.

Favorite BSF Moment: Three years ago at the Canmore Summer Camp, when I was a U16, my friends and I were riding back to the condos in a van with the U18/U20s. We had the song Electric Pow Wow Drum by A Tribe Called Red blasting as we drove back, and it was hilarious watching tourists’ faces as we drove by. We were all just having a great time and yelling to the chorus of the song.

Next Adventure: Attending Montana State University to study architecture, and continuing to ski with BSF as a post-grad with the hope of making the Montana State Ski Team!

Favorite BSF Moment: When I first joined BSF, we traveled to Italy in 2015. I was blown away by how connected I was with the athletes and the coaches by the end of the Italy camp. And, spending time with the people who are still some of my closest friends today.
