2017 Northern Division Awards given to BSF alpine skiers.

Jim Barrier Gold Cup

A continental cup type competition for the top racers in the Northern Division.

Overall Winner Women: Kate Hanson, BSF

Overall Winner Men: Jacob Drake, BSF

U21 Class Women: Anne Parker, BSF

U19 Class Women: (tie) Erin Petitt and Megan Petitt, BSF

U19 Class Men: Jacob Drake, BSF

U16 Men: Max Larimer, BSF

Gold Points Development Scholarships

Based on overall gold point scoring.

1st Place Male: Jacob Drake, BSF

2nd Place Male: Max Larimer, BSF

1st Place Female: Kate Hanson, BSF

2nd Place Female: Anne Parker, BSF

Bill Kenney Traditional High School Racer Award

Men: Jacob Drake, BSF

Overall Team Awards (Little Hollow Cup)

Given for quality, not quantity and is intended to promote junior racing, club spirit, and unity.

1st Place: BSF

2nd Place: Big Sky Ski Education Foundation

3rd Place: Missoula Ski Education Foundation

Academic Awards

Any U16/U19 racer studying at the high school level, regardless of athletic achievement, who is selected or an alternate to the Western Region championship event and who maintains a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Supports a dedicated and passionate U14 or first-year U16 skier that exhibits a dedication to the sport, determination to skiing improvement, positive interdivision sportsmanship and support of fellow athletes for success.

BSF's Erin Ogle Award

BSF also gives out a club award to an alpine skier who exhibits determination and dedication to the sport. This year, two BSF alpine skiers received the award, in memory of Erin Ogle.
