The Event
The Annual Sacajawea Classic at Bohart Ranch near Bozeman, Montana builds on a long history of classical racing at Bohart Ranch. This is an open citizen race in the European style--with events for racers of all ages and abilities. There will be prizes for the top three overall male and female racers in each event and good food after the race.
The Race Course
Bohart Ranch has some of the best classic terrain this side of Norway. The 10K course uses many of the same trails used during the 2002 US National Championships. The steepest climbs have been left out, creating an excellent citizen’s course with a good mix of climbs, rolling terrain and descents. There will also be a 30k course, as well as shorter 1k, 3k and 5k distances that are easier courses and are good for junior and recreational racers.
FEES: $15 for 1k, 3k and 5k; $30 for 10k; $40 for 30k
