The 22nd Annual Jim Bridger Trail Run

The race is a 10-mile trail run with over 2,000 feet of vertical climbs through the beautiful Bridger mountains.

Registration

Online registration closes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23.

Registration fee: $50 includes a shuttle both ways, a technical t-shirt, Friday night packet pickup downtown at Schnee's, and post-race beer, cider, and BBQ with amazing raffle prizes.

Course

The course features a scenic loop starting at Sypes Canyon trailhead (get directions) and continuing across private property only accessible on race day.  Great climbs follow as the runners head up Middle Cottonwood after a challenging water crossing, then continue across the Bridgers and down Sypes Canyon. Waterstop at the entrance to Middle Cottonwood and an aid station at the top of Sypes Canyon. View Course Map>>

 

Post-race fun includes food, beer, cider, prizes and raffles!

The Schedule

Friday, June 24

 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Race packet pickup at Schnee's, 35 East Main St., Bozeman. Pizza will be provided by MacKenzie River Pizza.

 

Saturday, June 25

7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.        Shuttles to race start. (Shuttles are mandatory for runners, spectators, and volunteers. No parking at the trailhead.) Park at the Springhill Sod Farm, corner of Springhill Rd & Sypes Canyon Rd. (Racers, plan to take a shuttle no later than 8:30 a.m.) Map to parking.

9:00 a.m.                    Race Start

Post race                    BBQ, drinks, awards, raffle prizes. Rotating shuttles back to the shuttle parking lot.

BBQ includes burgers from Yellowstone Grassfed Beef, beverages from Lockhorn Cider and Headstrong Pale Ale!

*No dogs on the course or at the post-race party. Thanks!

Notices: All race registration fees are non-refundable. Refunds will not be provided for any reason, including in the event the race is canceled due to weather or acts of nature. Runners must be a minimum of 15 years old on race day to participate.
