Annual Ski Swap
Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 1:59PM BSF will host the annual Ski Swap, November 4-6, 2011, at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. Start gathering up that unwanted winter sports gear!
Ski Swap Schedule:
Friday, Nov. 4th: 10am-7pm, Equipment/clothing/gear drop-off
Saturday, Nov. 5th: 10am-5pm, Sales
Sunday, Nov, 6th: 10am-2pm, Sales; 2pm-5pm unsold equipment pick-up
Also, don't forget to renew your BSF Membership. Members get in early on Saturday (9am) for some prime VIP pickin'!
Swap Details:
Consignment- $1 per item to check in
Sales- BSF get 20% of sales, you get the rest! Checks will be mailed within a few weeks
Admissions- $2 at 10AM Sat. for non-members; FREE at 9AM for members; Sunday FREE for all!

why is the swap so late? wont there be tons of snow by then?
For those of us who have never been to a ski swap...any details on how it all works?
What are the consignment/ per item fee's?
Advice, come early. Bring coffee while wait in line. Have a hit list of what you're looking for and have at it. Hopefully you're not claustrophobic.! Cash, cks.... Not sure about cr.cards..... Have fun and think snow!
1. The swap has always been the first weekend in Nov. It's pretty hit or miss on snow- but ski ares are not open yet. thanks!

Drop of items Friday, Nov. 4, 10am-7pm. $1.00 per item to check in. You pick your prices; we encourage you to set a lower price for sunday, We provide the paperwork and tags for you to fill out on friday. There will be people there to answer questions, if you are unsure of prices, etc. BSF gets 20% of sale and you get the rest. checks mailed to you within a few weeks.
Admissions- $2 per person for for non-members; BSF members FREE. Sunday FREE for all.
NOTE: BSF members get to shop early on sat- 9AM! We would love our members to volunteer- volunteers can shop even earlier....8AM sat! Call the office to volunteer. Renew/purchase memberships online today!

I've missed the swap this year( but I've been to all these events last years and I can say that the snow is always there. I love to be the part of these swaps and I usually write essays about my visits)
