JIM BRIDGER TRAIL RUN - June 29, 2013

The 19th Annual Jim Bridger Trail Run, hosted by Bridger Ski Foundation, will be held on Saturday, June 29th, 2013.  The race is a 10-mile trail run with over 2,000 feet of vertical climbs through the beautiful Bridger mountains.
 

The Jim Bridger Trail Run is generously sponsored by Schnee's and The North Face, with additional support from Honey Stinger and Garmin.

The course features a scenic loop starting at Sypes Canyon trailhead and continuing across private property only accessible on race day.  Great climbs follow as you head up Middle Cottonwood after a challenging water crossing, then continue across the Bridgers and down Sypes Canyon. View Map>>

Post-race fun will feature snacks, beer, prizes and raffles! Cash prizes for top male and female finishers. All participants will receive a tech t-shirt from The North Face as well as a raffle entry.

Race fees are $40 before June 21, and then $50 until race registration closes on June 28.

Annual Hyalite Tour

Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for this fun, free, and family-friendly Nordic ski event!

Meet at 10:00 am at the Hyalite Pavilion in the reservoir parking lot. Bring classic skis.

Guided skiing available with BSF leaders at 10:00, 10:30 and 11:00.  There will be various route options, ranging from 5 to 10 miles, and trail maps will be available.

Free lunch starting at 12 Noon (soup & bread). Also hot drinks and s'mores! Please bring a holiday treat to share if you'd like!

Wax technicians will be on hand to help you wax your skis. Wax has been donated by TOKO.

This annual tour has become a great holiday tradition! It is a family-friendly event for all ages, but please leave your doggies at home.

Join us for the Annual Ski Swap, sponsored by Bridger Ski Foundation, at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds (901 N. Black Ave. at Tamarack, Bozeman).

Nov 4, 10-2 Sale, followed by 2-5 Unsold Item Pick-up.

Admission: $2 on Saturday. Free on Sunday.

Consignment Info: There is a $1/item fee to check in items for consignment. If the item sells, a 20% consignment fee goes to Bridger Ski Foundation and you will be mailed a check for the rest. All unsold items must be claimed on Sunday 2-5pm. Any unclaimed items are retained by Bridger Ski Foundation.
